Turkeygirl
Buck down!! Took this guy Sunday late afternoon, 2nd day of gun season. Was holding out for a big one but deer movement has been so slow. I will see if I can improve come muzzleloader season.

ny_gun
It has been a while since I posted but I have a upgrade from my archery doe. I shot a 9-point and a doe in Kentucky last week during their rifle season. I will get some pictures up shortly.

hoosierhunter
Another slow weekend. Unfortunately I saw one of my good young 8's with an arrow still stuck in his rear end. I would have put him down but it was too dark to shoot. This is another year where too many good young deer are dying. It's not looking too promising for the future. Turkeygirl
Way to go team...we have got some points! Muzzleloader starts next week, hoping maybe I'll get a chance at a buck. Never got a ML deer before so buck or doe would be awesome
wtnhunt
Good luck Ruth. Think the last 5 bucks i have killed have all been with a muzzle loader. Rumors of a monster(for this area anyway) still kicking around here as of Saturday, evidently spotted recently less than 3/4 mile from our back field along a stretch of road pushing a doe. Heard that the warden is getting complaints of roadhunters looking for the deer and he is watching out for them. After showing the warden a trail cam pic of the one the wife encountered he thought it might be the same deer. Still think it unlikely i will upgrade but that 10 walks in front of me i won't pass him up.
hoosierhunter
60 degrees this weekend so deer hunting is out. Looks like I might try to knock a few ducks down instead.

wtnhunt
Having some beaver issues and flooded ground. Been clearing dams every day, got a few traps set but not had any luck yet. Gonna be a cold front moving through, plan on getting back out a few more times. Anyone else still hunting? Shaun, anymore pics or signs of the big 8? Good luck to everyone still hunting. hoosierhunter
Yep I have 45 days of season left. Highly doubtful I shoot another buck though.

wtnhunt
No idea how many there are but they built the dam back at some point after I caught my first beaver, trap was down the other day but could not see it. Old trap (conibear 330) was one i found in the barn no chain so i wired it to a stake, wire was gone. Luckily found the trap with my garden hoe. Added another trap and reset that one. Dunno maybe 35 lbs.
Rhino
I'm no trapper but I've been told if you leave a dead beaver by the dam, the others usually leave.
wtnhunt
I'm no trapper but I've been told if you leave a dead beaver by the dam, the others usually leave. Relocated it to the yote bait pile. Hoping to get a few sits in there this next week with the varmint rifle.
