Surprised to see that buck push a group of does, last ditch effort for him i guess. lol. Had a nicer 2.5 year old feed in front of me just before legal shooting light ended Friday afternoon. Slim chance i shoot another deer this season but i will be out this morning and this afternoon. Landowners get a 5 day doe hunt and then the late youth hunt next weekend and it is done until next September. Hope all had a merry Christmas and have a great new year. wtnhunt Posted January 4, 2016 Author Report Share Posted January 4, 2016 Season pretty well over here now. Upgrade not gonna happen. Have a 5 day antlerless hunt through Friday. Beyond frustrated with the doe "management" practice taking place and actually considering popping a doe or three for the freezer. Was hoping December would be successful with the bow but the deer just weren't moving with the weird warm weather we had. Now that we have a foot of snow and the cold temperatures have moved in they are moving around looking for food. But the season closed the 31st of December.
