MUDRUNNER
Team 5...lets get 'em boys! I'm still a few weeks away from the start of deer season. Sheesh, four people teams? I remember when we had 10 or 12 people on each team.

MUDRUNNER
Not much new to report from me. Our season opens Thursday. I'm hoping to get out on Sunday, but the kids have soccer games all weekend so it may not happen. I went up over the weekend and got the finishing touches on my stands, so i'm pretty much ready to rock.
Maine Hntr
I'm heading up to Maine this afternoon and will be in the woods all day tomorrow, supposed to be cloudy and cool with minimal chance of precip., still early season but we'll see if I can catch something on a natural travel route. My father who hasn't bow hunted in 25 years + bought a bow this year just so he could sit in a stand when I'm out, I'm excited for him as he's in for a completely different experience than the typical gun hunts he's used to. Maine Hntr
Well no deer yesterday, not even a sighting, the afternoon sit was beautiful though, a slight breeze and 45-50 degrees. I had a bull moose come through around 5:30, first time I ever had that happen, great experience. Unbelievable how quiet he was except for his antlers banging into stuff. MUDRUNNER
Man, that sounds like a great hunt regardless. Not every day you get to encounter a bull moose I imagine. I got out for a few hours Sunday morning, but didn't see a deer. All of the corn is still in up there so I imagine that's affecting deer movement. For some reason it never comes out before November. MUDRUNNER
I sat out this weekend. Had a wedding Friday night, birthday party Saturday, and it was 80 degrees on Sunday so we went to pick apples and pumpkins. I should be able to get out at least once next weekend. MUDRUNNER
Going out tomorrow morning. Supposed to be the first frost of the year! I had to get a new string put on the bow yesterday, so I need to shoot a little tonight and I'll be ready to roll.
texastrophies
I struck out in Wyoming. Saw a few small bucks, but nothing like what I was looking for. Now if I would have had an elk tag, there would be pictures attached to this post.

MUDRUNNER
I hunted Saturday morning until 11. I'm finally starting to see some deer. Seen a few dinks, but no does or shooters.
RackBlaster
Hey team, been seeing alot of deer passed on a bunch do to the warm weather. I left the stand this morn. around 9:30 and walked up on a big 12 point walking down my trail . I pulled to the side hoping it would come down but like big bucks do, it vanished . Hopefully its still around in the morning. Almost tagged out in WI last week just 2 more steps on a big 8 pt and mother nature blew a kiss and he winded me. I have pics of a big 10 there so maybe it was a blessing. Good luck everyone.
Maine Hntr
good luck. Got out this past Saturday afternoon for first time in MA (season just opened last Monday), no action but I think I kicked two out on my way out of the woods at dark.. the time of year is upon us, if you can be out there this is the time! Good luck all.
MUDRUNNER
Since the kids were out of school i took off work Friday and brought my daughter out with her crossbow. Seen a doe and a fawn but she couldn't get a shot. I went back and hunted yesterday morning. but only seen a little button buck.
Maine Hntr
well I have this Friday and next off and planning to spend as much time in the woods as possible, the weather is supposed to be ridiculously warm for this time of year this Friday, calling for low 70's... not sure if the rut activity will offset the warm weather or if the deer won't be up as much because of the warm. Got permission to hunt my neighbors property this year, only thing is he loves being outside and on his tractor and he's constantly out and about in the woods and using a chainsaw etc., he's retired so he's outside almost everyday doing odds and ends, ruined my Saturday hunt but it's his land so I guess I just need to be Thankful he told me I could be on it.
