Man, it's been warm! 50's the last week or so and not much cooler prior to that. No ice or snow whatsoever, not even the swamps or small ponds are frozen. In fact we had one snow shower in Oct so for .... thats it. This time last year we had 2' on the ground and were cutting holes in 8"+ of ice while grilling fresh backstrap ... this year I struck out during deer season just to make matters more depressing. lol!

Crazy warm here too, 52 degrees on the way home. The first week of October we had snow and lows down around 10 degrees at night. Thought winter would be in full force by now but I guess not. Looks like we will be having a green Christmas, haven't seen that in a LONG time. Looks like highs in the 40s straight through til the new year with lows right at the freezing mark. My poor snowmobile is crying in the shed wanting to come out of hibernation lol.
