Strut10
Had just enough snow New Year's morning to make seeing deer easier. Took a hike up to one of my favorite points on the Strut10 Ranch with my trusty flintlock and shooting stick. About 8:30 a nice big doe that looked like she might be carrying about 20 quarts of canning meat came sneaking by about 60-65 yards below me. She paused broadside and unaware for a moment and that's where she met the .50 cal Hornady PA Conical. She made about a 125 yard downhill dash (right toward the truck) and piled up in a little spring ravine. Last tag I had for this season.
