dartonman
Re: best broadheads? Loaded question, but its sure great to see you on the forums.....I have shot Muzzy three blades, the Montec G5's and the Magnus or Nuge blade in a two blade, and they have all flown within a half inch group of each other at 25 yards, and they have all killed deer....so, here is my dilema from experience.....the Montec, buy their sharpener with them, never look back, deer will fall from them quite often with a TUNED bow....the Magnus, you have to have them sitting on the arrow rest at noon/6pm or slightly angled 1 to 7,( / ) but never 3 to 9 ----- and the blood trails are not great, but they kill deer, and are extremely accurate and easy to sharpen....Muzzys are easy to shoot, I had to move my pins slightly, but they group well.....my friends have had GREAT success in the four blade Muzzy....this is my story, and I hope this helps.....these are the heads I have slaughtered Illinois deer with.............and the good and bad with them.........al

MUDRUNNER
Re: best broadheads? I use Crimson Talon 100's.They fly awesome, and really do some damage.Only down side is they are kinda a pain to get out of targets, but they hit exactly the same as my field points. They even fly good out of a bow that is not tuned perfectly. tedicast
Re: best broadheads? I personally prefer 100 grain Wasp Boss bullets. but I agree witht he statement someone said above. Any SHARP broadhead, that flies well from your bow will more than do the job, if it is put in the vitals.
