blacktailslayer
Last night the Oregon Senate passed HB4040 (reaffirming the ODFW Commission Wolf Delisting decision) in a 17-11 vote! The bill now heads to Gov. Kate Brown's desk. We encourage everyone to call her and encourage her to sign it: (503) 378-4582.

Stinger-Hunter
My Message: I would just like to remind you that your decision to pass HB4040 (reaffirming the ODFW Commission Wolf Delisting decision) through will be a positive thing and your leadership will positively affect surrounding states. I may be from Illinois, but I often visit Montana, Minnesota, North Dakota and Washington State. The wolves are a serious issue to those that live in those states just as the wolf issue is a serious issue in Oregon for people that live there. Allowing hunting of wolves will allow the Dept of Natural Resources to include wolves in management efforts. It is not just hunting wolves, it is the preservation of Elk, Deer, Rabbits and potentially human beings - which have been attacked and will be attacked in the future if wolves are not managed responsibly. Stinger-Hunter
I sent her a message myself. She'll ignore it, but I sent one. Edited September 16, 2016 by Stinger-Hunter
