billkay
Thats cool! Did you know it was going to pass overhead, or just see it by chance?
Tominator
Check out http://www.heavens-above.com/ You can put in your coordinates and it gives you all kinds of info on what's overhead on any given night. My son and I commonly watch for comets, the ISS and iridium flares.
Ravin R10 man
Yes Billkay, a local area science teacher was on fb and told everybody what time to go look...I saw it coming way off, called my brother, told him and they went out and saw it too. Ive seen sattelites before, and meteor shower etc. Never thought about looking up for that tho

Dawg
Things of the Final Frontier intrigue me. We are just mere specks in the grand scheme of it all. Read up on the Voyager satellites. They are two of three most distant human-made objects in the cosmos. They have existed our solar system and are now in interstellar space. Traveled billions of miles on their mission and are still thousands upon thousands of years away from the nearest star other than our sun. Fascinating!!!!
