Ravin R10 man
Man, pulled a tiny deer tick off Fri. when my bro & I got in from turkey hunting, went to take blind out today,Monday, and got another prob while carrying blind. Glad Im done Turkey hunting for the spring..it's only going to get worse, then with temps in 80's last few days, the Skeeters are going to get going too! Field work has started and we got a good start on planting since Friday, no ticks or bugs in the cab. lol Edited April 18, 2016 by Mathews XT Man

The Bug House
Pulled one off me last night! My son had Baseball practice and my girls were getting antsy so we went for a 10 minute walk in the woods ..... thats all it took. I't going to be a BAD season for ticks. dogdoc
I always get a couple when I am out at my place--in spite of spraying down really well. Wish I could put a dose of frontline on me.

elkoholic
I had over a dozen of them on me when I got back from a stroll in the mountains yesterday. Ticks are supposed to dislike white or light colors but I'm usually wearing camo or dark colors so they seem to like me. One trick to getting them off your clothes is to use a lint roller. This is best done before climbing into your vehicle or coming into your house so that you do not unintentionally leave a few behind to feast on others in your family. A good tick check is the only way to be sure you don't have to remove an embedded one and receive prophylactic antibiotics. The sprays (Deet) are just not enough to keep them off. Ravin R10 man
Someone said let the DNR be in charge of ticks and mosquitos...given the Wis. DNR track record..... in a few years they too would be gone
