Stinger-Hunter
I sort of helped with this How-To Guide a while ago. I think it is appropriate given the time of year. Keith Warren is a cool guy and creates really informative videos for us at OP. Best Knife for Field Dressing - A How To Guide
wtnhunt
Favorite here has been my gerber folder. That said i keep a few knives handy including a gut hook when skinning and quartering, a sharp fillet knife is also a must.
Ravin R10 man
A good solid locking blade no longer than 4" is all I need. If its longer than my forefinger when extended in my hand it's too big. Gutting job only takes 5 minutes start to finish. fly
I've dressed over 50 deer now and finally found the perfect knife a few years ago - the Buck Alaskan guide cross lock. Light, strong, keeps an edge well and has a saw that actually works. It's 100 dollar knife and worth it.

im your huckleberry
The one Grohmann is a great skinner the other one I sold and made $20. It really keeps an edge.
