Rhino Posted November 15, 2016 Report Share Posted November 15, 2016 Well teammates...I killed my 2nd Missouri buck this morning. Awesome hunt...he was in hot pursuit of a doe. Incredible, massive, tall tined 8 point. Just finished scoring him. Gross score is 161 3/4"...yep as an 8 point. G2's are 14" and 13.25", G 3's are 11.5" and 10.125", main beams are 25.375 and 23.75", inside spread is 18". When I get home the end of this week, I'll post pics. Can't from here. im your huckleberry Posted November 16, 2016 Report Share Posted November 16, 2016 It's been so darn warm here the deer just not moving at all. There is to much high energy forage in the bush. The only thing that is on the does is small 2 & 3 yr old, the good thing, below freezing by weekend. Should pick up with cooler weather. I have absolutely no idea what bucks I have coming in as the batteries in my camera died and I just realized it this past Friday. Should be good hunting Sunday morning. Had a deer blow several times but I'm sure it wasn't at me. Wind was blowing from the deer to me. Not sure what had it spooked. Nothing since then except for birds. I also watched a doe upwind of me blowing for no apparent reason at all recently too. It's common to hear deer blowing in the distance too. No way to know what they were blowing at. Been tons of times here I have heard them blowing like crazy with them upwind only later to have a yote pop out. Seem to have seen more does intolerant of young bucks early on this year though. Just as I figure out where and how these deer I am hunting evacuate the area, the darn wind changes and the deer move to there advantage. Well it's time to go for the interception, the wife is shutting me down to two more whitetail hunts before my cow elk draw, think I will take her. I have passed two 150" whitetail bucks so far this year, I will be hunting November 29-30th, those are my last days. I will keep you updated team. Wish me luck!
