wtnhunt
Not looking like we will even see an October frost here this year at all. Was sick of the heat back in June. Supposed to hit 92 here today. Air is running already this morning. That being said, I did see where on agday or some forecaster somewhere that there is an expectation this will be a cold winter and heating oil usage will be up. Between the heat and this current bright night moon, don't imagine deer are moving much aside from mid day watering and I am just not real excited about hunting right now. Cold front supposed to come through Thursday, probably get more serious about putting time in the stands Friday and beyond.
im your huckleberry
We have had 2 dumps of the white stuff for total of 5", which is just about gone. I just had to hit the cut lines out west in the foothills 6 does all with fawn, took the .22 we got 5 grouse not a total loss. That is probably it till November 1 for now . Rhino
Frost? What's that? Set some new record highs the end of last week. Been close to 90, or more here lately. Our 1st cool front for the year is supposed to move through Thursday and drop the temps down closer to the average temps for this time of the year. No clue when we'll see a frost. Maybe next month.
