wtnhunt
Round one: In my best effort to give an unbiased opinion think it was not a win for either candidate. That being said Trump fell flat on some issues where he had wide open door. No knock out punches or "moments" that will win over a big number of undecideds. fly
I wanted Trump to win but think his rather consistent aggressive approach hurt him. He repeated things on multiple occasions and while some jabs were warranted when one does it excessively people don't hear the crucial jabs as well. Clinton accomplished her goal early, although he didn't really lose it, just came off as being easily led away from the true topics he should have been hammering. Trump seems to think he won or at least is claiming as much, he really better learn something from this and have better focus for round two. Hard to say if round two will have quite the attention of viewers and undecideds. Think some are watching with an expectation or just to see if Trump will implode. Ravin R10 man
They will watch the tape and he will get coached believe me he needs it; he is not a smooth talking Politician who can talk around a subject and not say anything. wtnhunt
vp debate: Didn't watch the last 30 minutes but first hour Pence was very solid. Thought Kaine was just off, did not like the manner of his interruptions, came off awkward at times and rude. Pence seemed to only interrupt after Kaine cut into his time but was more respectful. What i saw of it Pence came off more presidential than the top of the ticket candidates, much more positive. Thought Pence hit a home run early commenting on Bill Clintons calling "affordable" care act crazy. That message should be being hammered from now until Nov 8th. Kaine got stuck on inaccuracies and sounded like a broken record repeating some clearly canned points rather than injecting his own opinion. Thought the moderator did a fair job. She asked Kaine a few tough questions he never answered. Why was Kaine wearing a flag on his lapel honoring his son rather than honoring this country? wtnhunt
Round two: hrc, same old stuff. Admittedly i don't like her, don't like bill either, but tried to watch and listen unbiased as possible. She got away with some inaccuracies unpushed by the moderators, yet called on the "fact checkers" multiple times, hipocrisy that more undecideds may pick up on. Don't think she did anything to sway undecideds in her favor. Trump did much better, still lacking some on substance. Too little too late? Should have had this type performance in the first debate. Think he could have hammered her on a few more points, he did well on what he did hit her on. Pretty clear A LOT of American people want to see hrc in jail. He may have drawn back some undecideds. Moderators, seemed quick to cut Trump off on time and interrupt him while he was talking. Not the same with hrc. Should be consistency and there clearly wasnt. Don't think trump helped himself at times with the manner he challenged the moderators although they were clearly letting hrc get away without the interruptions they gave trump, at times letting her talk indefinitely until trump pointed out she was past the time on the clock. Going forward more about the healthcare disaster should be getting attention. More on home defense and the current state of this country. MUDRUNNER
I have caught some parts of the debates here and there. At this point I'm pretty sure nothing I hear is going to sway my vote. I do agree with William in that I want to hear what the plan is to reduce health care costs at some point. These last 8 years have been been tough with all of the increases. I don't see neither candidate as a particularly good debater. I am concerned after these latest audio clips of Trump leaked out. It seems women & minority voters are really leaning toward Hillary at this point, which boggles my mind considering all of Bills' womanizing and shenanigans that Hillary covered up. I wasn't worried about the possibility of Hillary becoming our next POTUS until this week....now it seems almost inevitable unless there is a big swing. As much as I think things need to change, I can't help but think if the Republicans had a different candidate Hillary would be blown out of the water by now. As much as I think things need to change, I can't help but think if the Republicans had a different candidate Hillary would be blown out of the water by now. Liberals prey on the either mis or uninformed. hrc did in fact get a rapist of a 12 year old child off on time served in 1975. She laughed and scoffed about the child and she knew the man she got off on a plea deal was guilty. She has shown time and again going back to her early days that she will do anything to win and grab power. Sad reality this election has come to a situation where voters are forced to pick who they think has the lesser of the worst baggage. In my mind hrc is ineligible, for several reasons, one of the biggest being that even James Comey said that had she worked under his direction she would have lost her job and ultimately lost her security clearance. If she can hold no security clearance for the fbi, how on earth could she possibly hold the security of the country??? She cannot recall critical facts that would incriminate her, possible dementia. The email scandal and destruction of federal evidence that should have her under an independent UNBIASED and not influenced investigation that should make her ineligible for potential pending treason. Treason in this country can carry the death penalty, while talking about Snowden, who is guilty in my opinion of less than hrc, reporters suggested he could be subject to being hanged under US laws regarding treason. Further, why is that not being talked about by the msm? Why is the msm brushing the healthcare disaster under the rug? Bill Clinton was impeached, but was allowed to serve out his term, he should not be allowed anywhere near the white house. Some reports suggest he is still to this day unfaithful to hrc, it is known at the very least that he did use his power to abuse women and may very well have been a rapist. Extremely sad that this is where we are as a nation. And YES I absolutely agree the gop could have run mickey mouse and be beating hrc if they used what is known about her. wtnhunt
Round three: Trump won i think. Would go as far as to say had he performed in the first two debates how he performed last night that it would be a totally different dynamic right now. Think he would be ahead by 15 to 20 points every poll and well on his way to winning. Dunno if it is too little too late, we will see in a couple weeks. Hillary pushed it and Chris Wallace let her. She continued talking over Wallace and Trump on nearly every subject/question. Not sure how that plays to undecideds. Few points she clearly lost on were her changing subjects trump called her out for pivoting on. Wallace ran a much more even debate but should have been more aggressive with Hillary on her time. She clearly had more speaking time, although not so sure it helped her because she never really directly answered the important questions.
