wtnhunt
Never tried them. Tink was a member here, would say ask him but have not seen him around in several years. Maybe contact their customer service.
im your huckleberry
Yes, I have used a gel doe in estrus made by Tinks worked fairly well, but can't find it here any more. Yah know it's going to work when it tests your gag reflex. lol That is why I liked it.
wtnhunt
Like I said, no first hand experience with the aerosol bombs. Seen them and wondered how well they worked. Online reviews look pretty mixed, seems to be a lot of issues with only half the can dispensing of the buck bomb branded cans. Only scents I really use I use in scrape drippers, have had pretty good luck with the active scrape in drippers.
OKstate
I have used both buck bombs with limited success, not sure that they helped or hurt the hunt. I mainly use them sparingly and more to cover up my scent than to attract. After the first can only squirted about half the contents, I don't use them all at once any more and only buy it when they are on sale. Dawg
Most of your scents are just gimmicks these days. Hunt the wind right and you won't have to worry with a cover scent. I've never had any success using a scent as an attractant.

wtnhunt
A lot of truth to what Corey said. Would never suggest a scent attractant as a cover because if the wind is blowing that scent to the deers nose and you are anywhere inline they will most likely smell you too. I prefer to utilize mock scrapes and use scrape scents to peak deer curiosity and tick them off a little. Scent trails work well too. With a good location and watching the wind you can see lots of deer.
im your huckleberry
I tested some 4 thieves as a cover on a crisp, almost breeze free morning to get my set up. it had the mature does and youngsters nose twitching and licking they never snorted when i rustled leaves by accident again nose and licking. they stayed grazing in the oat field until they walked into the willows about 9 am. That is just one test , get a wiley 6 or 7 yr old buck it might be a different outcome.
fly
This is my one and only scent success story. In 2006 I was bow hunting in October on the edge of a harvested bean field. There was an old fence about 3 feet high (down in several areas) at the edge of the woods. I placed a scent wafer (doe estrus) on the fence about 30 yards east from the tree I had my stand in (right on the fence line). The wind was blowing from the woods towards the field (south). The buck below came out of the woods about 60 yards to my east. He entered the field and started walking north about 50 yards and out of range. He then angled west and got down wind of the scent wafer. He stopped - sniffed - and followed the air currents right to the scent wafer I had hung on the tree. He stopped and as he was sniffing it I shot. I use them all the time and have never had any luck since - however, they also have never screwed up a hunt.
