wtnhunt
Didn't the act of desecrating the flag used to be considered to be treason? If those folks don't like the American flag, and what it stands for then maybe they should find another country to take up residence in. Too bad these anti American protesters are able to get away with this, should be treason in my mind.
Rhino
I agree William...it demonstrates they hate the country the flag represents. If they hate it, one of their freedoms is the right to leave...adios!!!
wtnhunt
Certainly never heard of any Americans burning any flags or any type of such disgraceful acts over obama being in the white house. Guess that is one of the many differences between lib mentality and the rest of Americans.
Ravin R10 man
But William, the LEFT is SOOOO Tolerant! That is of course until you DISAGREE with one of them! Well folks, the Supreme Court has ruled Flag Burning is covered under the First Amendment, Freedom Of Speech. My opinion, they oughtta be lined up against a wall

Strut10
Isn't it funny (sickening) that it is a crime to deface a dollar bill but NOT a crime to burn the American flag.................................. ???????? From the Dept. of the Treasury, US Bureau of Engraving and Printing: Defacement of CurrencyDefacement of currency is a violation of Title 18, Section 333 of the United States Code. Under this provision, currency defacement is generally defined as follows: Whoever mutilates, cuts, disfigures, perforates, unites or cements together, or does any other thing to any bank bill, draft, note, or other evidence of debt issued by any national banking association, Federal Reserve Bank, or Federal Reserve System, with intent to render such item(s) unfit to be reissued, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than six months, or both.
