Turkeygirl
Still hoping to fill my buck tag for gun season but here is a doe I shot with my muzzleloader. Taken on 11/27. Was about 100-115 yard shot, sitting on the ground. TC Omega Z5 with 100 grain Triple 7 pellets and Hornady SST 250 gr. She ran about 10 yards and toppled over, double lung pass through. Farthest shot I've ever made on a deer. I actually have a video I'll have to post sometime. This was my 2nd doe this season and 2nd deer ever with a muzzleloader.

wtnhunt
Congratulations on the doe Ruth. Muzzleloading is a lot of fun, most the deer I have killed the past 13 or so years been taken with muzzleloader.

MUDRUNNER
Congrats Ruth! Your freezer should be filling up nicely. Sounds like you hammered her. 100+ yards would be a pretty good poke for me lol. In 25 years or so of deer hunting I don't know that I've ever shot over about 60-70 yards. Turkeygirl
Thanks guys! I had a nice dead tree to rest the barrel against so I felt confident in the shot, and with the scope dialed in.
