Turkeygirl
FYI on a good deal - ScentBlocker is having 50% off. Runs through Jan. 1, 2017. http://www.robinsonoutdoors.com/shop/scentblocker-specials/scentblocker-50-off-year-end-event.html
dbHunterNY
Seems like Scentlok has a lot of there business. i've seen more media personalities and promotional staff wearing or switching to the Scentlok. They lost a legal fight too. I think they're just trying to keep or keep anyone wearing their stuff. I've had Scentblocker Roadtrips and Protec fleece for a years now and they work well. I saw the sale and still recently purchased Scentlok Cold Blooded parka and pants in Realtree Xtra. No reason other than i liked it better than any Scentblocker stuff i saw and it was on sale too. If you insist there's another reason then i'll tell you Tim Andrus peer pressured me into doing it! haha
wtnhunt
Thanks for passing along Ruth. I am not in the market for any new hunting clothes but never know when a good deal comes up what you may not realize that you need. Around post season or close to it is usually a great time to catch deals. Guess I am one of those skeptics on how effective the carbon clothes really are. I think they can help, but won't be anywhere nearly as effective as advertised. Here is a test for those die hard believers in the "forget the wind Just hunt" ad idea, cut an onion then stick your hand in a scentlok or blocker glove and see if you can still smell it, bet you will! MUDRUNNER
Scent Blocker does have some decent sales from time to time. No way I would pay full price for any of their stuff, but at 50% off you get a decent deal on some higher quality clothes. I bought some nice base layers from last years 50% off sale....them things are like wearing comfy pajamas lol. Way more comfortable than my Under Armour base layers. Turkeygirl
That is all I got was an arctic weight bottom layer to go with my top and a pair of gloves. I did pick up an Under Armor jacket in Realtree at 50% off in my bow shop the beginning of December so that was a really good deal. Now a days I pretty much just buy if its my size and on sale. In all honesty I have both realtree and mossy oak camo in the wardrobe, lol. A deer or turkey doesn't care what brand camo you're wearing.
