Just about 8 inches here in the valley. Probably will not help the snowpack very much, we needed about ten feet, but any moisture is good to see. This is the first decent snow we've had all winter........I mean, come on.......I live in ND, and the ground has been brown and the temps have been above freezing nearly all winter......... And I've got a sled that's been collecting dust........we're only gonna end up with about 4-5" out of the deal, but I may just have to take a spin..... slugshooter Posted March 18, 2005 Report Share Posted March 18, 2005 Re: Snow at last! We had some snow here in NC today in Franklin County, not exactly sure where that is, probably up near Virginia. We don't usually get a lot here in South East NC but we usually get a few inches, last year we got quite a bit but this year we got mostly ice and a few flurries. Weather has been really weird here this year, about a month ago it was 80 degrees for about a week, this week it has rained for the last 2 days and been in the low 40's for the high temps. Last little cold kick I guess. You yankees can keep the snow, I saw enough of it when I drove a semi and got tired of the stuff real quick, but , when you hail from North Central Florida, the white stuff can be a little unnerving at times.
