MCH
Re: NFAA 2005 Indoor Nationals Knock the centers out of em, Tony! If you shoot like we know you can shoot, you'll be OK. If you start to lose confidence, just think about ole Tanky Top...

Tony
Re: NFAA 2005 Indoor Nationals im back from the Nationals.. i shot ok but i had a brain fart on the first day.. i shot 299-54X the first day and 300-55X on the second day.. i will say that i am very pleased with the X count for both days ( 109 Xs ).... thats is one goal i acomplished.. i wanted to shoot more than 102X which was my best at the 2002 Nationals.. and i shot my highest score for a tourny ever with 300-55X... the first day i didnt make a real bad shot i just dropped my bow arm and shot a solid 4 ... i had a great time and i met a lot of new people and saw many old shooting friends.. Iowa was represented very well with several pros and many good shooters.. Nathan Brooks ( PSE ) won the Nationals in the pro Division with friend Mike Anderson ( Mathews )coming in second ... then a bunch of Hoyt shooters .... i saw so many heartbreaks at the Nationals ..you wouldnt believe how many great shooters made mistakes..... but i also saw a lot of great shooting... a friend Mark Wagner came in 4th in the ESPN Eliminator round just getting edged out by Pro Tim Gillinham... the top 3 go to the ESPN Great Outdoor games... hes going to Pittsburg to try to get in at the last qualifier..... the guy i went with Jeff shot a personal best 600-88X in Bowhunter freestyle... he has only shot one 300 this year in league and then shoots 2 at the Nationals ! i was so happy for him.... anyways i had a great time .. i plan on going back but i might shoot Vegas instead ... now that my indoor season is over im getting ready for 3D..
