Let's have some fun here. If you could change, create or modify ANY 10 laws, what would they be. They don't have to be any certain catagory just 10 laws that you could change,create or modify.

Don't have time for 10, but here's a couple that I would really like to see.

1. Create a national right to carry that will preempt all state and local firearm laws.

2. Eliminate the Federal Personal Income tax and replace it with a national sales tax.

3. Change the tort system to a "loser pays".

4. Institute a recall and referendum system for national candidates and laws.

1. Government officials found to have misused tax dollars will be charged with fraud and tried by a jury of citizens. Penalties will vary depending on severity. Example, claiming $5000 dollars in expenses that wer not legitimate will get say a $15 000 dollar fine, and probation. Misusing $100 million by giving your friends BS contracts(sound familiar buckee?) will get you fired, fined as much as you have, and a significant prison term. While in prison you will write a letter to each and every taxpayer apopogizing for your actions.(At least 50 per day as long as your are in jail since even in Canada that would still be a lot of letters).

2. You no speaky English? Then get the heck out!( i guess in fairness i should allow french...but only if you move to an area where there are actually enough french people to warrant translating stuff!

Outlaw abortion

Death penalty in all states, expanded to rapists/child molesters...change in death penalty to make it public AND unpleasant (a real deterrent)

English as official language

social welfare programs revamped--so those who are able-bodied can no longer rip off taxpayers.

Get rid of tax code, implement the "fair tax" idea.

Set in motion a plan to wean people off of social security.

I could keep going on and on...but here's a start.

10 Laws I would make (in no particular order of importance)

1. I would reinstate the draft system, for all men at age 18, without any deferments for those who simply want to get out of military service.

2. No women would be on-board Navy Ships or in any combat positions. (Strictly clerical and nursing in non-combat areas)

3. Enact a flat tax deducted from the worker’s income. (No exemptions and no forms to file)

4. No more hand-outs to those who can, but won’t work, and no hand-outs, or loans, to Anti-American foreign countries.

5. I would re-instate the legal age for voting, back to 21 years of age.

6. I would completely do away with a minimum wage system.

7. I would make homosexual acts illegal, and punishable by death.

8. I would have a law that would punish by the death penalty, any evangelist preacher who attempts to part anyone with their money, property, dignity, or by Biblical threats. (except for unsolicited donations)

9. I would make a law that no lawyer could advertise their services.

10. Any organization such as the ACLU, HSUS, PETA, or ALF would be unrecognized by the government as an entity, and would have to pay taxes on every penny they brought in through donations. (Remember, donations are no longer tax exempt.)

Gosh…only 10?

I’ve got a bunch more, but this will do for conversation starters.

1. I would legalize, comercialize, and tax the living snot out of Marijuana. Not because I would smoke it (I would not) But I feel like 98% of the people who would smoke it already are, and the revinue it would creat would be asrtinomical.

2. I would make it manditory for every person who publically gripes about teachers and the education system to substitute teach for 1 month.

3. Over turn Roe-v-Wade. Sorry libs.

4. Overturn every law in California that less than half of the other 50 states don't have. esp. gun laws

5. Costitutional amendment to outlaw any same-sex unions.

6. Make all able bodied welfare recipiants work.

7. Put cost caps on medical proceedures and medicines.

8. 150 mph speed limits on interstates

9. Death penalties for pediphiles.

10. ENGLISH AS A NATIONAL LANGUAGE!!

You gave what most didn't to this country, you deserve better even if you don't want to.

7)Draft. You will serve one way or another if you are able. May not be military because we have enough poop heads who volunteered but you will serve the government or community somehow for 4 years.

8)Rap music is banned. It is bad for the image and it causes people to become hood rats and thugs and whatever else you think you are.

9)No more racism or EO. If you don't qualify for a job it is because you are stupid, deal with it. No more taking companies or businesses to court for probable racism. No more setting certain "Numbers" for businesses or whatever else just to make people happy. Just because you didn't get your own way or your race..whatever race you are, even if you are white....didn't win something, get over it.

10)Jail is jail. No TV no playtime in the courtyard, bread and water....that's it. You did the crime, you do the time, the hard way.

Don't have alot of time right now, but I did read one that makes me think of one....Any teacher who calls a parent and asks them to sit down with their kids and teach them things at home...will have to do do that parents job for 1 month....

if we have to do their job for them... it's only fair that they do ours...

I asked my wife the othernight - right after doing homework for an hour - when I could expect my teachers paycheck to come!

9. Switch the incomes of pro athletes with teachers and law enforcement.

10. Mandate that every senior over the age of 70 be tested for their drivers' licenses EVERY year. ( not really sure what age to start doing that, but somwhere around that age?)

While I agree whole heartedly on that, I find it amusing that those people who have nothing to do with the military even worry about that stuff anyway. It isin't effecting you at all

But anywho, I really like the laws that were presented in here. I would have most of you on my cabinet anyday. Although we would probably have agzillion assasination attempts on us daily But just think how happy we would be if our new laws were put into place. Think of how much better America would be if we put some of these laws into place. I have so many more I think I might start this again next month or something.

#1. Eliminate all elections and fill offices just like if jury duty is called. You get called to serve as a congressman for 1 term and you can never be called again. Of course the President position will be filled by me and be called Evil Overlord as is should be.

#3. No more reality televison shows.

We wouldn't have soldiers on trial for "torturing Iraqis" or better yet--"murdering Iraqis". Let the soldiers do their job without the media sticking their noses in it. AGAIN, I agree with everthing you are saying. I just find it funny, thats all. Especially about the "Don't ask Don't tell" part of it. I mean if anyone hates gays it is me but why would someone who hasn't served worry about if gays are amoungst the ranks in the military. Nevermind. Maybe this MORON who is just an ignorant SOB anyway, came off the wrong way to you. BTW, I think the embedded media is good to a degree. But I think they need to be given guns and ammo and what happens in the field, stays in the field. They do not have to air anything that they tape. I think they are good in part where they let people see what it is like over there but when something happens, I think they shouldn't be allowed to hold anything against the troops nor be allowed to air anything that might be questionable.

I to think alot of things that go on in this world are unnecessary. But we won't go into that now. I think alot of American people are too often un-educated about what goes on in the military. I think alot of them go off what they hear from their friends or relatives or what everybody else been saying.

In ending, no I really don't like the fact that peporters are embedded with us over there but at the same time, I think it is good in some ways. We just need to hold them accountable and I think if they are going to be with us, they need to fight too and only air what is OK'ed by the Commander.
