Change Your Password

On February 23, one of our service providers, CloudFlare, revealed that they recently fixed a security flaw affecting many websites including these forums. This flaw may have caused certain data to leak onto the Internet.

We have no evidence that your account was compromised; however, we strongly recommend that you change your password as a precaution.

Changed mine, Thanks RT!

CloudFlare posted an update Wednesday. We feel it’s good practice to change passwords often, but based on their analysis:

  1. CloudFlare has found no evidence based on their logs that the bug was maliciously exploited before it was patched.
  2. The vast majority of customers had no data leaked.
  3. After a review of tens of thousands of pages of leaked data from search engine caches, CloudFlare has not found any instances of passwords, credit card numbers, or health records.
  4. CloudFlare’s review is ongoing.
