Yeah been a very long time since I've posted, lots of changes in my life last three years, divorce after almost twenty years was very hard on the family and my twins, but we've managed to get through it, work been extremely challenging, but it is what it is.  My girls graduate next Friday, identical twins, valedictorian and salutatorian.  I couldn't be more proud of them except they want to go to ole Miss lol.  Been dating an ob-gyn for over a year now and have been fortunate to take the girls to Grand canyon, Brice canyon, Glen canyon, antelope canyon, and all their senior spring break.  Just got back from Montana and Banff national Park last week, so I've been very fortunate to be going a lot with this new relationship.

I've tried a lot of times to get back on using the app, lots of issues but finally logged in through internet tonight to say hi to all of you and tell you I'm still using up perfectly good oxygen lol.

Been a good year, lots of changes still in my life but my girls did decide this year they wanted to kill a turkey and was awesome to get one of them a nice bird called in range.

Welcome back John!  Didn't realize it had been that long since you checked in.  Congrats to the girls for being valedictorian and salutatorian.  You'll learn to live with their decision to go to Ol Miss!  Congrats on getting a gobbler close to one of them too.  Nice bird!  Hope you're able to join the campfire more often now.

Thanks Al and Ross.  Al I tell my friends that the girls didn't have the grades to get into State lol.  She was proud of the turkey, nice bird but absolutely spurless, but that happens from time to time.  I've killed them with only one spur, but never no spurs.

Glad I was drinking something when I read that about State or I would have spit it all over the keyboard. :D  I recall 1 bird I've seen that a buddy of mine killed a long time ago that didn't have any spurs.  They are very rare.

Welcome back John! Very nice turkey your daughter got. Congrats to her! Sounds like they are doing very well in school, and probably have the grades to get into Harvard if they wanted to lol. Glad everything is going well with you despite your past challenges. Everything happens for a reason and this sounds like a very good example of it!
