So today is the 139th day of the year...no relevance other than hunting season is creeping a little closer lol.

So what are everybody's plan for the weekend?

Pretty normal weekend for us. Hitting tonight for my daughter, and a softball tournament in Red Bud on Saturday & Sunday if the rain stays away. It's not looking like great weather at the moment. Tomorrow my son has his last spring soccer game for the season.

Who's next?

Good luck with the tournament and game.

Supposed to be potential for some rough weather here.  Rain all weekend after it came a flood here this morning.  Gonna be too soggy to even think about getting the tractor out of the shed.  Wife and youngest daughter supposed to be volunteering to help at a fundraiser marathon tomorrow if it does not get rained out.  Have some odds and ends to work on if I can.

May try to get a camera or two out this weekend.  Deer are growing antlers rapidly at this point.

Supposed to rain here this weekend too.  I'll be doing some inside chores and packing to drive to Missouri Monday.  We had so much rain in Missouri when I was there late April and early May (turkey season) we didn't get a chance to loosen up most of our treestands.  That's what I'll be doing late Monday afternoon through Thursday next week.  I'm also going to move a couple of stands and pull the pop up blinds too.

Too early for me to start running cams in MO William.  We typically start running our cams there shortly after the 4th of July.  That's when we we can get a better idea what the buck's racks are going to look like this year.  As you know, it's not like I can check cams and swap cards whenever I want to in MO like you can.

I have to work tomorrow from 8-3, then finish up the rest of my lawn mowing and trimming that I didn't get finished tonight. Over the rest of the weekend I'm hoping to have my newly acquired 2004 Yamaha Kodiak 450 back in one piece instead of one million pieces that it's in now lol. I had it given to me from my grandpa with a messed up transmission. Which in those machines is inside the engine case. So I pulled the engine out last weekend and tore it down, ordered the parts to fix the transmission as well as an engine rebuild while I'm in there. Hoping to have it back up and running by the end of the weekend. Other than that, spend some time with the family, maybe get some wood cut. It's a holiday weekend here in Canada which means I get both Monday and Tuesday off since I work tomorrow. Looking forward to a much needed break!
