Strut10
I kinda wandered into this one over the course of a couple years' conversation with a fellow. One of those things I really DID NOT need, but could NOT pass the opportunity if the price was right. Well.................... the price was right, soooooo.......... This is CVA Frontier Rifle serial #0000001 It has a stainless Douglas barrel, an INSANE piece of maple on it and the tag on the trigger guard reads (paraphrased) " First item, built March 1976". It was presented to CVA's, then, QC/QA manager.............. a Mr. Birk. The tag is also signed by him. The rifle appears to have been sparked a time or two. But it has never been fired. As yet.................. I have NO idea what I am going to do with it. I just like looking at it.
MUDRUNNER
Man, that wood is gorgeous. Pretty sweet that you know the history behind it.
wtnhunt
Man that sure is nice Don. Cannot say as though I have seen wood quite that pretty on any rifle, let alone a muzzleloader.
