I'm a little late getting this weeks check-in thread going. Hard to believe another month has come & gone. It's a long holiday weekend for a lot of folks. I have to work Monday, so just another weekend for me. We are in town and no sports activities for us. I plan on getting caught up on the yard work and mowing tomorrow. Planning on going to church with Grandpa on Sunday and take him out for lunch afterwards. My daughter is staying at a friends tonight for a birthday party, and have a graduation party to go to Sunday. I was hoping to get up to the farm and get some trails & shooting lanes cut this weekend, but not looking like that's going to happen.

Whatchu got going on this weekend?

Well I got my "Honey do" list completed, mostly food prep etc., we are having our annual family picnic on Sat at the church lake lot. Im official grill master since we started doing that, plus we, (Kim & I), kinda plan the whole thing and organize it, lots of work, but we have had up to 30 people in years past. (now minus my mom& dad)...Everybody pitches in and it works out.

Andy Ash & Breylen will be here for the entire weekend (4 days)  looking forward to spending time with them.

Wife and youngest daughter doing their volunteer stuff with the horses and kids again tomorrow.  They primarily work with "special kids" and even some older folks too with horses, they have a viet nam veteran they are working with now.  Have 2 momma cows due to have their calves anytime, kinda keeping a watch on them.  Dunno how the weather is gonna play out, last I checked we were looking at rain chances for the 4th.  Our second daughter(Nicole) will be 16 on Friday the 7th, our oldest is supposed to be coming home on Friday, so will probably look at picking up some fireworks on July 5th and do fireworks at her birthday party.  Have a pork shoulder to smoke for bbq for sometime next week.

Picked up filters for my tractors, need to change the oil and filter and fuel filters on the little one and just the oil filter and top off the oil on the bigger one. Probably also change the blades on the mower deck.  Thinking about trying to work on my 7 ft bushhog and seeing what is gonna be involved in repairing the stump jumper splines/gearbox shaft, but not too sure how much that will go beyond thinking.
