hoytman62
I have a Scentlock Ozone Generator and was wondering if you can operate it while still plugged into the charger? I use it in a hunting clothes cabinet. Thanks!
MUDRUNNER
I don't have an answer for you. I'm not sure anybody here has jumped on the ozone bandwagon just yet. I made a thread on here last winter and nobody was too familiar with the ozone generators. I'm sure someone at Archerytalk would have an answer for you if you are a member on their forum. How do you like the ozone generator? I've been kicking around the idea of either buying one or assembling one myself.
wtnhunt
We have an ionic breeze type air filter. It generates "ozone" in the exchange process. I would probably try it in a closet for my hunting clothes if i had one. Also have considered just building a cedar lined closet since there are cedars all over our property. smormad
Are those generators really safe to use? I heard people saying that it is really bad, but I am not sure if I should believe them.

Well after doing some research I have learned that they really can be safe if you learn how to operate them properly and you can learn how on damagecontrol-911.com. It is not hard really, just go out of the room while it is working and when it finishes that Ozone turns into air after 1-2h. It takes it a few hours to clean the room and it is great for removing the odors. Another plus is that it will also kill every insect that was in the room and you might've not known about them so far. Really great tool for keeping your house clean and I am seriously thinking about getting one. Edited August 24, 2020 by smormad
