MUDRUNNER Posted September 8, 2017 Report Share Posted September 8, 2017 Wassup peeps. Another week has came and gone. What are the weekend plans? Nothing big planned for the weekend on my end. My bride has to work tomorrow so my 3 year old will be hanging with me. Emma has softball practice tomorrow & a game on Sunday. Evan, my 10 year old, starts his flag football career tomorrow with 2 games. Tonight he's going to a back to school "dance" with a few of his buddies. I'm sure there is not much dancing that goes on with a bunch of 10 year olds lol. Besides that I plan on shooting the bow a little and sleeping in. Probably only a few more weekends left until I have to winterize and shrinkwrap it for the winter. Gonna push that as long as I can! Goose season opened yesterday. I literally hunt them in the back yard, they fly from a pond 1/4 mile from my house, right over our house and fields. Usually there's hundreds every night, haven't got a shot at one neither last night or tonight! Weather has been pretty crappy. Stiff northwest wind and 50 degrees right now. Just fired up the wood stove for the second time this year already! Supposed to be a nice weekend, sunny and in the low 70s. Never know what you get this time of year up here. Ravin R10 man Posted September 8, 2017 Report Share Posted September 8, 2017 (edited) got lawn mowed this eve, while piling up tops on a job, I got called back to farm for field work today for the entire weekend, had to cancel a nitetime bullhead outing because I got to report in early Sat., cant be dozing off out there because I stayed out too late...I kinda wanted to pull up some of those whiskerd fish..dang; my little bro is going anyways.
