Rhino
Figured I'd start it since I'm leaving soon. Bow season opened today in MO but with temps in the 90's the next couple of days, then rain the following 3 days, I'm waiting until Wednesday to drive to MO to bowhunt. Heading to the MS club soon to do some last minute stand prep, run my 5 cams there, and some other chores. Season opens in MS on 10/1 but this will probably be my last chance to go there before the MS opener.
MUDRUNNER
Going to the annual Italian Fest tonight a few towns over. Games, kid's stuff, Italian food, beer garden, and a great local band performing there tonight. Tomorrow morning I plan on mowing and my boy has a flag football game in the afternoon. No plans for Sunday that I know of. It's a rare weekend with no softball what so ever. Summer is back in full force here with upper 80's and low 90's, so will probably not head to the farm until it cools off again.

Shaun_300
Mmmm if that's the same fish fry restaurant you took me to Martin for the walleye I'm jealous! Have to work tomorrow as usual 8-3. Then down near the Ottawa Intl Airport we go after "work" to continue working, they had a little senior outdoor show and we had a booth with a few boats, atv's, snowmobiles etc so we need to get that removed and back to the shop. Supposed to be a beauty weekend, sunny and in the mid 80s. Probably the last weekend with those temps so may try and get out fishing. Also going to try and hammer a few geese. Was sitting outside all evening, just came in about 10 minutes ago when legal shooting light ended. As I type there are hundreds of geese flying over lol. Didn't have one fly over all evening. Oh well that's the way it goes!

Was up by Grande Prairie, Alberta doing some deliveries a 4x4 passed me and the lucky man had a 6x6 bull elk on the back of the trailer it was a bow kill. Dawg
Headed to the lease in Newton county tomorrow to reduce the hog population. Two setups there are overrun with swine. Sunday we'll relax a bit before prepping to entertain some friends that evening for the Dallas game.
wtnhunt
Got mom out of the hospital Thursday and got her settled in to another therapy/rehab facility, with hopes they can get her back to physically able to stand without assistance and walk more than 45 feet without being exhausted so we can get her back into the assisted living home we moved her stuff to last week. That being said, I have spent waaaaay tooo much time driving between facilities and in the hospital the past month and a half and have a lot of catching up to do on yard work, property maintenance, and hunting season prep that I have fallen behind on. Have shot the crossbow just once, probably gonna shoot for my first stand sits to be during our muzzleloader season, just don't realistically see me getting out during our archery season.
