Stand Maint.

Hard to believe, but spent part of today, taking down safety ropes and loosening ladder and stand straps. Got four done, two more to go. Seems like I just got them ready...Gonna keep a late season stand up and ready in case we get snow and cold, and a shooter happens to pull in. With warm temps, deer are all out in fields like October. It's 41 at 6 pm in northern Wis!!

Hung a couple stands specifically for bow season that planned to hunt with the crossbow.  Never had an opportunity to sit in them a single time this season and yeah not too long until time to take them down.  We are in the rifle segment until it all closes up, no chance I am putting away a gun for the bow, too many yotes needing whacked.

Winter is supposed to rear its ugly head here later this week, supposed to get to 69 here this afternoon though.

Gotta love it(not) wearing insulated bibs and parka with two layers in the morning and then gloves and facemask for mosquitoes and a tee shirt in the afternoon.

Waiting until spring to loosen stands in Missouri.  The Mississippi rut should be cranking up here soon so a long way to go before we even consider loosening stands here in MS.  Matter of fact...going to hang another stand here in MS today.
