Christmas check-in

Merry Christmas to my Realtree family! I hope everyone has an enjoyable holiday. What are every bodies holiday weekend plans?

I am working this morning, and have a work function this afternoon. Tomorrow I need a shave and a haircut...been putting it off since the rut, but the wife wants me all spiffy for Christmas. Other than that tomorrow is a rest day. Found out I have a grade 2 muscle tear in my right arm, so it's pretty useless. That pretty much ends my hunting season. On Sunday we are going to Christmas Eve church service with my Grandpa in the morning, and going to the in-laws in the afternoon for brunch, drinks, and the kids to open presents. Christmas morning the kids are up at the crack of dawn to open gifts, then it's off to my sisters for our annual Christmas breakfast. We'll get home in the afternoon, and I'm going to park it on the couch (probably have some toys to assemble) and flip on "A Christmas Story" as the day winds down.

Merry Christmas to all.  Everyone have a safe and very Merry Christmas.

Cooking a turkey on the smoker tomorrow for Sunday, probably also bake a couple each of pies pecan and fudge.  Christina(our oldest) should be home some time tomorrow.  Will hopefully get a few sits in a stand between everything, maybe get Christina out to a stand.  Have Sunday morning service and candlelight communion service Sunday so probably eat midday and have leftovers after church Sunday night.  Have some Christmas cartoons on the dvr to put on sometime, probably watch its a wonderful life on Christmas eve while waiting for the kids to go to sleep.

Yeah sure our boy will have us up early on a Christmas morning(non school day), he is bass ackwards.  Up at 5:30 or earlier on non school days and have to drag him out of bed at 6 am on school days.  lol.

Again wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.

Merry CHRISTmas everyone - finishing up a few late orders tonight and then local deliveries tomorrow and help out at the Salvation Army soup kitchen tomorrow evening.  Family coming in for our traditional chili dinner CHRISTmas Eve and this year my oldest grandson will read the Night Before CHRISTmas for the first time (been my job until now) he will also regale us with the playing of Jingle Bells on his guitar.  I wish for each and every one of you the very best of health and joy this wonderful season and on into the New Year.

Working Christmas Eve day shift, Christmas day evening shift. I'll then have Tuesday off and next Friday off. We have a fresh smoked ham and a wild turkey to split up between the 2 days :-) Goose season opens back up Tuesday and we got permission to hunt a field the geese were in last week so hopefully they are still hitting it this week.
