lol.  Yep, got about 5 inches of snow here on top of the half inch of ice.  Kids were out of school today.  Don't see the snow going anywhere soon.

Only supposed to get to 25 tomorrow, dunno if our 12 year old will be able to handle that.  Our late season youth hunt is this weekend, hope to get her out, but if not guess we will look to see a bigger one next year.

we got dumped on last night.... looks like a foot of snow out there It will make for a fun drive home from work this morning....and that's all I got on this weekend is working nights....it will be like that for a few weeks now because I have taken on a lot of extra shifts to try to make up for some stuff we have had to purchase in the last few weeks. So I am working 60 hour weeks from now till April (60 is all they allow us to work in 1 week) cheers everyone.

I'm slacking a bit on the Friday check-ins lol.

Was a pretty quiet weekend for us. Went to the in laws for dinner Friday night to celebrate brother in law & father in laws birthdays. Wife worked Saturday so I stayed home with the kids and got a few things done around the house. Yesterday took my daughter to the batting cage and watched the Vikes game....and what a game. SKOL

I've been slacking on Friday check-ins too.

Went to the MS camp to deer hunt.  Too windy & cold in the mornings for me but hunted Friday & Saturday afternoon.  Didn't see any shooter bucks.  Season runs through the end of January.  About burnt out on deer hunting.  Looking forward to spring time weather & turkey hunting.  Calling for 60% chance of ice & snow here tomorrow in central MS.

I missed this one also! Didn't get a whole bunch done ... bunch of errands and chores on Sat. Spent Sunday looking out the window wishing it was warmer. Cabin fever is starting to set in!

We had some crazy weather also, ~25 days of arctic weather and then 36 hours in the upper 50's and an inch of rain. Massive ice jam on the river behind my house. I was outside scraping the driveway and it sounded like a freight train crashing through the woods! No damage to my propert thankfully. We had several areas evacuated and some damage elsewhere though. Was back down below zero past couple nights.

Warming up again today a bit, think it's a high around 10F. The rest of the week is going to be warmer. Took the day off today to get some stuff done. Starting a new job next week. Doing the same thing but instead of a half hour drive to work it will be 5 minutes away, quite a bit more pay too which is nice. Have the four wheeler warming up now, going to take the dogs for a ride to the bush and see whats going on in there. Had quite the windstorm so might have to take the chainsaw back and clean up some of our roads.
