Rhino
Been raining so much here, hard to get too excited. I've been trying to go do some post season deer scouting and listen for gobbling birds but it's been rainy, terrible weather for the past 4 weekends. Season opens 3/15 here in MS. Strut10
Too long til season here to get real excited. Did hear one gobbling one time about two weeks ago. It's been raining and snowing here ever since with two more weeks of crappy weather (at least) in the forecast.
Rhino
Season opens in 7 days (3/15). As usual, there's rain in the forecast for this weekend...again so I won't be listening for gobbling action. Long range shows rain in the forecast for opening weekend too but clear & cool for the opener next Thursday.
wtnhunt
Season opens here this Saturday. Cannot recall the last time I went turkey hunting, with the annual easter egg hunt at our preachers place won't be out for this opener either. I have heard a few birds gobbling a good ways off. Have a real nice rye and clover plot that I am sure would see some birds, just not something that gets me fired up.
