MUDRUNNER
What are everyone weekend plans? I have a cousin in town from Colorado, so getting together with her and some family tonight. I haven't seen her in years so it will be nice to catch up. Tomorrow morning Evan has football weigh ins, and Emma is helping coach the middle school softball team in a small tournament. If I can, I would like to get up to the farm on Sunday to get my cameras out & check some stands.

Ravin R10 man
Got moved to a local gravel pit today to clear trees for an expansion . Time for weekly mowing here again, that is relaxing for me on my JD Z Wife is in Denver this week, so I can do what I want after I do what I have to do.. Hope to start on treestands and lifelines
elkoholic
Hopefully it cools off a little here (it's 102 in the shade right now) and I can finish staining the decks and shoot the bow some more. Maybe split some firewood for this winter before I get involved in hunting too much and don't get much of anything done. Need to also finish getting ready for a trip to the east of the mountains for the archery antelope opener next Wednesday. Since the temps are so high I may do some spot and stalk rather than sitting in a blind during the mid-day heat. The fires here and to the west and south of us are making the air hard to breathe and the heat just compounds that affect. I may be crazy, but I can not wait for snow. I'd settle for some rain and 30 degrees cooler. Edited August 10, 2018 by elkoholic

Started around 7:15 Saturday morning...finished around 2:00 Sunday afternoon.
Dawg
Got 99% of the honey-do's completed, then the rain came in yesterday and put a damper on that.....darn the luck......but the yard looks nice again and the porch is ready for our football get together's this fall. im your huckleberry
Well I'm late again, smoothing thing over with the wife she freaked out when she seen the sales receipt for the new rifle and scope. By the way put a 2.5 - 10 x50 Monarch 5, I am just hoping it will be a good light gatherer for those right at legal hunting time morning and night.
