wtnhunt
Interesting. Have used the same stuff for many years on horses and cows. What you have in the pic for the video appears to be the same brand I currently have, gordons? The permethrin has a slight odor to it that I can smell(if I can smell it, I know a whitetail deer can smell it), does your scent away hide that? fly
Been using it for years. I don't think it scares deer any more than my own scent.
Dawg
Permethrin beats any other repellent hands down. Been using it for years. It'll kill wasp also if you spray enough on them......learned that when last summer when I opened my box stand and had a swarm in there. The only thing I had in the truck was the permethrin but it worked good enough.
Rdy2hnt1
Will have to give it a try. I got a bad case of the chiggers right. The itching will drive you crazy.

BUT I have used permethrin cream after getting bites, and it does seem to end the itching.
Stinger-Hunter
NW Indiana had a lot of rain and warmer winters over the past several years. I had 3 ticks last season and early spring scouting this year. I thought I had Lyme disease and even got tested for it, but luckily no. Doctor had to remove 2 of them since no one at work (surprise surprise) would get the 2 off me. Pitiful when you live and work near a city. Will be getting this beginning Sept. Another mild winter is assured to have more ticks out in the field in 2018.
Dawg
Another great thing about permethrin is it lasts for a few washes so you don't have to apply it every time you go out. I keep it safe though and apply after two washes.
