Yellowstone trip

Just got back from exploring Yellowstone National Park and thought that I would post some pictures.  It is a 6 to 7 hour drive from my house to the park so I don't go very often so each time it brings out a new bit of wonder and amazement.  I took my son and granddaughter with me and since it was the granddaughter's first trip to Yellowstone it was great to see the excitement she showed.  There was very little forest fire smoke there which along with the mild temps (mostly in the 60s) made the trip very pleasant.  One thing of note is the ever increasing number of tourist and the percentage of them from other countries.  If you go (and you should) I would recommend a mid September to mid October visit or if a summer trip is more feasible, than early mornings (to beat the rush) is the best time of day.
