MUDRUNNER
As of tomorrow we are one month away from bow season starting up! What are everyone's plans for the Labor Day weekend? Planning to relax a bit & grill tonight. I need to do some work around the house and shoot the bow tomorrow. I'm sure the kids will want to shoot the crossbow some too. Sunday is my little sisters birthday, so we are going over there for lunch & swim for a bit. Evan has a football game tomorrow evening. Monday we are off for the holiday, so I plan on sleeping in a little & enjoying some down time.

Dawg
Going out to the lease Saturday morning to move a box stand (shooting house for all you yankees) and do some trimming on shooting lanes. Supposed to rain later in the day Saturday into Sunday and Monday as well. Probably burn some meat on the grill and relax for the rest of the weekend. Rhino
Going to pick up my new gas engine Ranger tomorrow. I'll haul it to the Mississippi club and run my 5 trail cams there. Then I'll go home Sunday and haul my Li-Ion Ranger home that's at the MS camp now so I can haul it to Missouri next time I go there. The Missouri bow season opens on 9/15 but I'll wait for the 1st cool weather front before I go there to kick off the season.
Ultradog
More work on the new garage here. I have one side of the roof sheathed and tarpapered now I have to start the other side. My knees, ankles and calves are sore from walking around on this pitched roof. I had hoped to get out to Brookings SD to pick up a parts tractor I bought out there and haul it up to my property. Then finish bush hogging the open areas on my property for the year. But that won't happen this weekend. Maybe next. Summer's over guys and the feeling of fall is already in the air. My favorite time of the year is just starting.

wtnhunt
Going to cook a shoulder sometime over either hickory or pecan. Still very warm and humid here, summer is hanging on and still seeing heat indexes over 100. Our son has an ear infection, so likely won't go to church tomorrow, and also not likely he will go swimming either. Need to mow the yard again, need to hook up the bush hog and mow some. Need to spot spray beans in the bottom with roundup. Need to get a couple more cameras out, been saying that for the last month but been so miserably warm. Getting close to time to hang a couple store bought ladder stands, really need a break from the heat to get that done, but might just have to suck it up and do it anyway. Shaun_300
Going to try and get my wood shed built this weekend if the weather isn't too bad. Supposed to be stormy all weekend. Heat is ramping back up too. It was 43 degrees here Thursday morning, was hoping that would stay around. But it's calling for heat indexes near 110 on Wednesday. Ugh so sick of this scorcher of a summer we've had. Other than that I'll see if I can get the lawn mowed again if it's not too wet. Could literally cut it every 4 days for the past month.
