Taking the southern route through Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana any sights that are a MUST see along the way? I'd AVOID Meridian Mississippi...……………….jumped off 20 there about 15 years ago to hit the Waffle House. Got the VERY distinct feeling that it wasn't the friendliest town if you weren't from there...………. Whereabouts in west Texas you going to be hunting ??? I have been out there a few years ago. Iraan, Texas. Crockett county. You are in the middle of nowhere. Lucky if you get any cell service at all. Bring most of what you need.
