dogdoc
Are you wanting to shoot fixed blades or a mechanical? If a fixed blade just about everything is compared to a Muzzy! I have heard a lot of great results with the Montec also! todd
mitrrophybowhunter
Re: broadhead selection If you are set on fixed go with Muzzy 3 blade or the Montec G5's. If you are looking at mechanical you can't get any better that Spitfire pro XP's
Guest kracey
Re: broadhead selection I would have to tell you to compare different ones yourself. All your gonna get here is opinions of what everyone shoots themselves. I would have to tell you to look at Crimison or Muzzy. But other than that, I dont know how helpful the replys to this question will be. In-short, there are tons of good broadheads out there. JimT
Re: broadhead selection Any good sharp broadhead that shoots good down your bow is the best. It would be hard to pick the best, as there are alot of good heads out there. This year I will be shooting Grim Reaper heads for deer and G5 heads for bear. magnatecsteve
Re: broadhead selection Like the others said, there are lots of good heads, just see which shoots best for you. I use Muzzy 3 blade 100 grains. Would like to some day try Montec heads, little pricey though but hear they are worth it.
Hillbilly
Re: broadhead selection Well, all broadheads are good, just more than others pack a bigger punch. I personally like Muzzy 3 bladed 100grain. It's awesome and has some power behind it. I struck a doe and she fell within sight. About 25 yards to 30 yards. But shoot some broadheads first before making your selection. You have a lot of time before next deer season. Keep in mind about the Muzzies!! longislandhunter
Re: broadhead selection I've been using 100 grain "thunderheads", 3 blade, for the past few years and I love them, although reading all the posts it appears that muzzies have the popular vote. I would go with what flies the best off your bow.
