wtnhunt
Allison asked me after she shot her deer if it was normal for her to have the shakes and for her ear to be ringing, she said it continued even after getting down. Kinda got a little laugh out of that and told her yep still happens to me even after all these years. Then she asked if was normal to see red from her shooting(right) eye, said she saw red immediately after the shot and it continued for a bit. Don't recall ever having that happen, thought she might have gotten scoped, but not at all. Anyone have any ideas, thoughts or has this happened to you? StrungOutOutdoors
Not the red. Adrenalin maybe? Everything else sound perfectly normal
Adjam5
I think the shakes are normal and I think she may have bumped her eyeball, but not necessarily, scoped her head or eye socket as what happens usually when people get too close to the scope. That would make the red. My guess. Hope she is OK William.
RangerClay
Adrenaline affects everyone differently. We had a kid who used to get so hyped up he couldn't even tell us which way he was shooting. Typical conversation, Us: Sully, was that you who shot? Sully: Yup Us: Where was the deer when you shot at it? Sully: I don't know Then started the 20-30 minute grid search for blood
Shaun_300
Haven't saw red before. Do still get the shakes and ear ringing though!
Rhino
Never saw red after a shot. Might have been muzzle flash...no real clue though. As far as the shakes after the shot...yep...every time. The shakes are a lot worse after the shot with a bow! It was overcast and pretty dim so maybe seeing the muzzle flash and the rush of adrenaline combined to over-exaggerate the flash. Thanks for the replies.
