MUDRUNNER
What's on the agenda this weekend? Not much going on tonight. Tomorrow is my wife's birthday, so we are going out to eat and have a few drinks. Sunday my daughter has ball practice. Weather looks interesting this weekend. Rain all night tonight & snow all day tomorrow in the forecast.
hammerforged
Working on a few orders and hoping to get in some range time - calling for some rain off and on, so don't know about the range time. Wife's Birthday is next week so will probably go out for dinner Saturday. Had some sleet yesterday but it didn't stick around, thank goodness. Hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable weekend. wtnhunt
Sick of the rain/precip here, everything is already beyond rotten, have run out of ground that is not churned up to feed my cows on. Yeah, looks like the forecasters are pretty uncertain how much or even whether we will get any snow out of this next round of slop. I am gonna guess we will get 3-4 inches. Then Tuesday another round. Need gravel for our driveway, but been unable to get more than 3 dry days in a row all winter long and rock just does not do right when it is wet. Only thing planned really at this point is to take the family for a short trip up to our rural king store tomorrow morning. Our 17 year old needs a rabbit for a school assignment in her ag class, and have to pick up a few things and get my soybeans ordered. I will have to check my few traps I have out, caught the first beaver of the season this morning, may add a few more traps.
Adjam5
Happy B day Mrs Mudrunner and Happy B Day Mrs Tyser. Good luck with the traps William. We are getting ready to batten down the hatches here for the big storm. 8-10" expected here in Rockland and 9-15" expected in Sullivan county. Well it has been a while without a big storm. It IS winter...right? Don't mind the cold but the snow has to go. Won't miss none of this when I am in Texas. Stay warm and safe gents. Shaun_300
Supposed to get a pretty good winter storm here. Up to 10 inches of snow. We got 4 inches yesterday. Very cold too we are pretty well touching the -40 mark with the windchill value right now. The wife's Terrain sure let out some grumbles when I started it this morning lol. Nothing exciting this weekend. Don't think I'll be ice fishing. Wind is supposed to pick up later and tomorrow. 30mph winds to add to the -20°F temperatures. Have to go to a memorial service this afternoon for a mother of Kayla's friend. She was one of the 3 people that were tragically killed on that city bus crash in Ottawa recently. Double decker bus crashed into a bus station. The roof of the station was the same height as the second level of the bus and took 3 lives and injured about 15 more. So sad. Adjam5
Oh Boy Muff...those are beauties. Labs have stole my heart. My son Joe has a Charcoal Lab named Ruger that did it. You gonna take one?
Muff
She is trying but its a NO...can not do a puppy....we are away from the house to long on week days...to leave a pup alone in the house or a dog crate for 13 hours is just not fair to the dog.
