MUDRUNNER
You would never guess spring is around the corner judging by our weather. A low Sunday of -2 and a few inches of snow on the way. Not much planned for us this weekend. Vicki works tomorrow so just me & the kids. The boys don't have anything going on that I know of. Found out yesterday that Emma made the high school softball team. ( I never really had a doubt). She will know in a week or two if she will be on Varsity or JV. I need another hair cut so might work that in. The boys will probably want to go sledding Sunday if it snows.
Ravin R10 man
Got last snow blowed out and yard and road to deer widened. A few more inches coming late today. Have issues with Forwarder not starting, so replaced relays, starter Relay, checked both fuse boxes, and main "MEGA" fuses(Gotta like that name),LOL Isolated each line with meter and ruled out what it was not. Finally got to Starter relay, had 24 volts on every circuit, until I put starter line back on.,DEAD!, BAD STARTER.... Service call slated for Mon. You would NOT believe how tight they got that placed in engine compartment. Started cleaning basement, those darn ladybugs! Got MY Corner done this morning. Overseeing swapping bins out at Recycling center, as we switched contractors. Got my Township guys winging and widening out roads, and yards, March can be a BUGGER, got to be ready for more snow. elkoholic
Doesn't seem much like the first day of March. Below zero temps. and with high winds pushing the snow it is more like mid January. I will be driving to Missoula tomorrow to attend a continuing education seminar at the University of Montana School of Pharmacy. It is a 200 mile journey in what is projected to be blizzard conditions. I will spend Saturday night there and Sunday will be in classes all day before returning home that evening. If I hadn't already paid for it I would be tempted to change my mind. Hopefully the weather isn't as bad as predicted, but currently it is snowing and blowing here and I'll probably have to plow tonight or in the morning before I leave. March is certainly coming in like a lion.
hammerforged
Still raining here, so tired of all this. Waste of time to fire up the forge, too much moisture in the air to get anything to weld properly. Getting ready for two events back to back in the Austin, Texas area in early April. One benefitting Honor Flight and another benefitting the Children's Hospital then hopefully going to give an Axis or two a dirt nap. Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. Strut10
March in Pennsylvania...………………………. sounds like spring...……...feels like winter. Got about 5 inches last night. Somewhere between 2 and 6 more coming through the weekend. Then January-like temps to follow. Just a bunch of errands tomorrow then taking (surprising) my daughter with a college basketball game in a luxury box. A ton of stuff I need to get done...………...just no cooperation from that old bag, Mother Nature.

Ultradog
Snow duty here. Again! We had about 6" I think it was on Tuesday and I didn't have time to plow it out. Then we got another 5? inches yesterday. I'm running out of room to put it. If this was December or January I would be a little depressed about it all but it is March and l know it can not last now. We've gained over 2 hours of daylight since December too so that helps. PS A lot of people are going to have a heck of a time getting their fish houses off the lakes this year. They have to be off by Sunday or there's fairly stiff fines for non compliance. Edited March 2, 2019 by Ultradog

wtnhunt
Have to dig a big hole sometime today before the next round of rotten weather moves in. Had a freak accident with a 1.5 year old heifer, ended up in a feed trough in the barn sometime overnight Wednesday or early in the morning Thursday and unfortunately could not get out. Think she got crowded by the bigger cows and pushed over. By the time I found her Thursday morning afraid she had damaged her spine thrashing trying to get out. Other than that, need to do some routine maintenance on tractor, have a set of led lights I am adding to the canopy to help be able to see when using the tractor at night, factory lights are not so good with the loader in typical carry position, also got lights to add to the fenders for rear work lights. Not sure how I want to mount them yet. Need to get the wife and kids out some time today to see the sand in the bottom.
im your huckleberry
Wow, been a while. February was so darn cold here most of the time it was -30 C plus the wind chill which dipped it down to close to the -40 C or F it is the same but stayed thawed..lol . It's amazing when it gets there the cold goes right through you then it is a bugger of a time to get those chills out of you, about the only way is jump into a hot bath and soak until you feel it leave you.
