If it can,

it will.  Things go wrong, but, why?  Yesterday, as the temperature climbed into the 40s, I moved as much snow away from the house as I thought necessary in an effort to alleviate water damage should the melt be too rapid.  This morning I awoke to 8+ inches of wet, heavy snow.  Okay, no problem as I fire-up the atv to clear the driveway and on the second pass the winch decides not to work, so there is now no way to lift the plow.  Well, alright, I've got a snow blower and decide to finish the driveway with that and manage to get about halfway down my 500 foot driveway and sheared an axle bolt and the wheel fell off.  I manage to get it back uphill to the garage and a couple of hours, and a very angry back, later I have both the atv and snow blower in working order again.  I did manage to then clear the driveway, plus two walkways and a balcony, the latter two, with a shovel.  I hope there is no more snow (not likely) or at least no more breakdowns.  There is one thing I am sure of and that is when I need a lawn mower to work in a couple of months, it will surely break.

Spring (at least officially) is just one week away and turkey and spring bear seasons just five weeks out.  Hopefully they don't decide to cancel the spring hunting seasons.  That is one thing I really don't want to go "wrong".

Sorry to hear the troubles Dave.  I do know the frustration of things not going right or as easy as they should.  Seems when I am exhausted or the most inopportune times that things seem to take those turns where murphy's law seems to take hold.  Hope you get a break from the snow soon.

There is an alternative.

The modern saying is "A woman can fix anything! So long as she has a cell phone and a checkbook."

You could just sit in the house, do your hair and nails and have the snow moved and machinery fixed for you.

I say be glad you can do stuff - even if sometimes there are setbacks.
