MUDRUNNER
Let's see here....weekend plans. Emma has softball practice after school today, and it looks like I need to get the mower out for the first time this spring. Tomorrow Tyson has hockey & Emma has a double header. It looks like a chilly weekend ahead. Sunday my sister is having an early Easter dinner since everyone has plans next weekend.

elkoholic
Gonna do a little hunting on the opening weekend of turkey season. Turkeys were holed up on private property this morning and although they would gobble back at my calling they would not come my way. Earlier this week there were two long beards around my house, so they are starting to wander a bit. I'm nursing a bum leg so my hunting will be limited over the next week or so and with the spring bear season opener Monday, I am really wanting to be out traipsing about. With rain in the forecast every day, maybe I'll be less inclined to be out hunting and give my leg a chance to heal. Enjoy the spring everyone! wtnhunt
Supposed to be a washout here. Might go look at some pups tomorrow morning an hour and a half away one way. Our 17 year old has been begging us to get one of these anatolian/pyrenese pups. I need to mow again, but not gonna happen unless the forecasters missed entirely, it is just going to be too wet. Have a little work to do on equipment.
Muff
I am working exchange shifts all weekend on nights. been a long week here, mom has been in and out of hospital all week and if I don't get a call before morning that she is headed back again I would be surprised because when I dropped off dinner for them tonight she was not good. so I will keep my phone close to me but hope for the best. Shaun_300
Just got home from Toronto last night around 9. Brutal foggy and rainy 5 hour drive home. On the plus side I'm now officially a certified Mercury technician. In the past 4 days we did the advanced courses for outboard engines and systems for 2.5hp to 400hp outboards so my brain is overloaded lol. Have to finish up two courses next year and I'll have Mercruiser too. Resting today, going to try and get a little cleaning up done outside today before the Masters comes on. Supposed to be 60 but it's very windy. Big storm moving in tomorrow, probably the one you're getting, William. An inch plus of rain but it's going to be very close to the freezing mark so it could be either snow or rain. We are right on the line. Predicting all rain for us, and up to 6 inches of snow 50 miles west of us. Also have to go into work tomorrow evening to tear down a cottage show in Ottawa. Have a boat and some Yamaha toys down there.
elkoholic
Went to play with the turkeys for real today. Carrying the 870 was the only difference from yesterdays experiment with calling them off private property. It was a frosty 28 degrees and foggy. They didn't even gobble today but I heard them fly down. It was too foggy to see them but I assume they did the same thing as yesterday and fed around the houses. It is supposed to be a rain and snow mix tomorrow so I might just sleep in. The season last til May 19th so there is plenty of time.
wtnhunt
Picked up our new pup yesterday morning, girls picked him out of a large litter and named him "Max". Sure he will grow into that name. Catrina did not go with us since it was over an hour and a half away and she planned to be ready to go to the hospital with our oldest. So Catrina went and sat with our oldest daughter(Christina) since she thought she was starting to go into labor, she had been up all night Friday with contractions. They ended up at the hospital last night, baby was not quite ready yet so they sent her home. Catrina got a call this afternoon and took off and took Christina back to the hospital with Christina's husband(Austin) following in their car. They are keeping Christina this time and we should have our first granddaughter sometime later on this evening. Will get pics soon.
