Weekend plans?

Emma was supposed to have a JV softball tournament this weekend, but we've been getting dumped on with rain so everything is cancelled for the weekend. Tomorrow Tyson has his last hockey session of the spring. In-laws are selling their house & downsizing, so we will be over there in the afternoon to help pack up & go through things. Sunday will be church in the morning & dinner at the in-laws.

Have the church Easter egg hunt tomorrow.  Usually always go, but i need to cook 4 5 +/- lb whole chickens and a 13 lb turkey.  This should be a fun year to watch our son hunt eggs.  May just load the smoker before going and cut the egg hunt short.  Probably make potato salad today to get that out of the way.

Christina and Austin are supposed to bring baby Josie to church Sunday morning and then visit the afternoon with us, and eat turkey dinner. Gonna send them home with some good food, chicken beans and tater salad.

A sloppy wet mess here right now and still drizzling.  Need to mow our weeds and wild onions if it dries out enough.

We have two Easter dinners to go to, one tomorrow and one Sunday. Other than that it's going to be a wet one until Sunday. Approx 3 inches of rain between last night and then. Already dealing with flooding, now this! Oh well, hopefully the ground is thawed more and can absorb more. Rivers are overflowing and roads are flooding in the area. Sunday and Monday look good though, sunny and very close to the 70 degree mark.

Working my weekend of days this weekend then switching right into nights for 4 nights starting Monday....like most of you a wet weekend in the forecast so not a bad place to be all weekend. Hope for Easter dinner next weekend if Mom is up to it. she is improving slowly day by day.  Girls started rugby this week. Have a good Easter weekend all...CHEERS!

Cold front moving in and rain for Saturday and maybe just overcast on Easter Sunday.  Seems like a lot of the country is getting doused.  No big plans as I'm here alone and with a bum leg that's still on the mend I'll put any hunting off for awhile.  I will be cooking myself a ham dinner for Easter dinner and possibly start reading another book.

Enjoy the egg hunts and have a Happy Easter!
