spyderpancake
Re: qestion I haven't hunted antelope or elk, but it ranks right up there with deer hunting. I would rather kill a huge buck than a huge tom, but you can't beat sun-up in the green spring woods with a gobbler coming in, gobbling his head off. You gotta experience it... Guest DaHunter
Re: qestion Yea it depends, but around my area most people would rather spring turkey hunt than most anything else. Nothing like being there when the woods come alive in the spring with the ol tom soundin off.
redbeard
Re: qestion More fun than deer, no contest. Yet I'd like to call in an elk, that might give 'er a run for the money.

Hillbilly
Re: qestion I like to hunt everything that Indiana has to offer me. I get a little more excited when a big buck comes in than turkey season, cause I have killed more deer than turkey. I'm still turkeyless
need2hunt
Re: qestion I would rather deer hunt (I know booo hissss ) But I love to turkey hunt as well nothing like sitting in the woods with a bunch of gobblers sounding off!
Rhino
Re: qestion More fun than deer hunting? You betcha! The only other game that I've hunted that is as much fun as turkey hunting is elk hunting. The tactics we used to hunt elk is about the same as tukey hunting. The main difference to me was elk covered ground quicker than anything you can imagine and they will wear you out covering country going after them. I'd love to do it again someday. IMHO it's like hunting 700# turkeys with headgear.

Texan_Til_I_Die
Re: qestion I think deer hunting is more fun for me, mainly because it's so much more challenging. I'm sure its different in other areas, but where I hunt turkeys, even big mature gobblers are relatively easy to come by.

Strut_Buster
Re: qestion I dunno. Thats a tough call. I hunt woodcock, geese, duck, deer, rabbits, and pheasant.
