Ultradog
I came up by myself this time to do some bush hogging. Am doing the hard parts. I usually have someone with me and they want to drive the tractor so I put them on the easy stuff. Those have been done twice this year but the rest of it needs mowed too. If you don't mow it once a year the forest takes over and you lose your clearings. This area used to have a lot of small dairy farms and many small areas around the alluvial hills and swamps were farmed. Now I'm just trying to hold back what little I have from the forrest but I know that ultimately I will lose the battle. I came up prepared. Brought 8 gallons of diesel, some dinner and two pale ales and sat in the deer blind to eat. Doe and a fawn came out for about an hour. Summer is over here. Night time temps probably wont reach above mid 60s again this year. I hope you all have a good weekend.
wtnhunt
Lots to do and little drive to do it right now. Last couple weekends have had blood pressure bottom out after just a couple hours being outside. Cardiologist doubled my bp meds earlier this week and told me no restrictions but then says no heavy lifting and keep heart rate under 100. ? A lot of stuff needs fixed around here, seems like I fix one thing three more break down. Waiting on parts for our Honda Foreman so I can rebuild the carb, float is sticking. Wasn't ever able to fix the driveshaft on my 7ft heavy duty bushhog, gonna have to take it to someone but no idea who. Clover needed mowed weeks ago and probably needs sprayed with clethodim. I may hook up the leaky light weight 6 ft howse mower and fill the gearbox. It should hold long enough to mow the acre of clover. Need to respray the soybeans in the bottom, the freaking pigweed is in the beans. Need to mow the yard and do regular yard work if it dries out enough. Have some washes in the driveway I need to fix again. Probably gonna take the family and go visit our 18 year old at college tonight. Our early archery velvet hunt is going on I think. I may make it back to check the one camera I have out.
Shaun_300
I'm at home with the little man at the moment while mommy and Emma are at a birthday party for one of Emma's friends. Once they get home I'm going to mow the lawn I think and maybe split some wood if I feel really energetic.
