Plan to get a few sits in, but no realistic expectation of seeing any deer that would trip the trigger. What does everyone have going on, anyone still hunting. Taking the ol' jon boat down the Neches River this weekend to see if I can get a buck on the ground or at least reduce the hog population a little. Got a buddy going with me, plan is to pack some grub and stay out all day Saturday unless we kill something early. I'll be flying solo on Sunday but plan on returning to the river for another all day hunt. Shaun_300 Posted January 4, 2020 Report Share Posted January 4, 2020 Went fishing with my brother yesterday for lake trout. Only caught a couple perch, oh well, still nice to get out. Today we went up and visited my grandma. Not sure what's up for the rest of the weekend. May get out for a walk in the woods tomorrow and see if I can find some coyotes. Deer season ended the end of December here, so patiently waiting for October 1st lol. Still lots to keep me occupied until then. Coyote hunting, ice fishing til April or so, a little snowmobiling!
