Shaun_300
Smoked one this afternoon with the .257 Weatherby Mag. Hit the rabbit in distress and within 5 minutes two came flying in like it was their last meal. Well for one of them it was. I wasn't prepared, missed the first shot, hit the back leg on the second and leveled it the third shot on a dead run.
wtnhunt
Best kind of yote. Cool you got one down already on first set and broke in the new rifle, congratulations. I really need to get after them here, killed one back in November out the back door, have not been out calling yet. Getting loads of pics on trail cams. Shaun_300
Yup it was awesome. Sighted the gun in this morning, went out this afternoon and got my first kill with it. And this yote is my first one I've ever called in!
Ravin R10 man
thats cool!..not even seen a yote track here yet this winter..all the deep snow early locked 'em down where they were at. I suspect once we get a warm spell and crusted snow, they will be running, mating season gotta be kicked in here soon.
Shaun_300
They are everywhere here Martin! Go outside after sunset and that's all you hear is them yapping and howling. Tracks EVERYWHERE you look all over our farm.
