Maybe if it had more of a round deer body shape than a flat body, kinda disappeared when it turned toward you. Made then on edge for sure. elkoholic Posted July 3, 2020 Report Share Posted July 3, 2020 Pretty obvious it does not look natural enough to the deer to put them at ease. Overall shape and movement is not correct. On the other hand, it may hold a buck's attention long enough to allow getting off a shot. During the rut it may help lure a buck within range. Interesting to watch the reactions.
