ErikHimmel
Looking for advice on a good yet affordable universal gun cleaning kit. Not $10 Hoppes junk. Looking at the Pro-Shot PSUVKIT for around $40 – is this a good deal? Is there a better deal? Thanks in advance for any input.
Robert Townsend
Yes, Pro-Shot PSUVKIT is a useful gun cleaning kit. I used it once to clean my handgun. The kit includes several high-quality gun cleaning accessories like a double-ended bore brush, brass patch loop, brass shotgun adaptor, and 100% cotton flannel patches. After cleaning my gun, I holstered my gun in a concealed carry so that I can carry it surreptitiously.
Turkeygirl
I'm not familiar with that specific one but based on my experiences with a cheaper kit, from Walmart, you get what you pay for. Definitely go with a good gun cleaning kit the first time!
wtnhunt
Best advice I could give is to not buy a kit at all, but rather to buy specific to your needs. A good set of jags and brushes are a must, and a good rod/rods are also good to have.
